After the last episode of Temptation Island’s 2019 series we decided to look at Pornhub\u2019s visitor traffic from Italy along with Rolling Stone Italia<\/a>, to see if this summer’s record tv program was enough to take people\u2019s attention away from Pornhub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Read in Italian<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show, which is very popular in Italy, now in its seventh season, recorded record-breaking numbers, with millions of Italian<\/a> (NSFW) viewers\u00a0 glued to their screens every Monday night. As usual 6 couples put to the test their relationships trying to resist the sexy tempters on a beautiful holiday village in Sardinia, and our visitors put aside Pornhub for a few hours to follow the events.

As you can see in the chart above, for each episode of Temptation Island the traffic started to drop shortly before the start, suddenly dropped down during the show, and then recovered to Italy\u2019s normal level after the end. Let\u2019s now take a closer look at every single episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The green line shows the traffic fluctuation during the first episode of this season, broadcasted on Monday 6\/22, which recorded an audience of more than 3.5 million. The drop during this show was -6%, while the couples and the tempters were being presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The red line tells us what happened the following Monday, when the show had over 3 million viewers and 700,000 Italians watching it. Visits on Pornhub had an incredible drop of 8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The yellow line follows the traffic fluctuation during the third episode, broadcasted on the 8th of July with over 23% of Italy’s television share. Here too the traffic decreased until it reached -8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In light blue we can see the trend of the visits to the site during the forth episode, which had a record of audience of almost 4 million viewers. During this episode the traffic drop was \u201conly\u201d 4%, we can assume that during that night Italian people were focused enough to follow confrontations videos on Temptation Island, and simultaneously view video on Pornhub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The episode broadcasted last Monday had a record share of 23.65%, and also experienced the biggest traffic drop on Pornhub by -9% compared to normal Monday traffic at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our statisticians also found that this TV show influenced searches on Pornhub. In fact, as you can see in the chart, starting from the first episode, every Monday we recorded an increase in searches for \u201cTemptation Island\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Y-Axis, the average level of searches is equal to 1. Starting from that point, we can see that on monday 6\/22 and 7\/2, the keyword \u201cTemptation Island\u201d increased more than 150%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In occasione dell’ultima puntata di Temptation Island abbiamo deciso di analizzare insieme a Rolling Stone Italia i dati legati al programma estivo di punta delle reti Mediaset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La trasmissione – giunta alla sua 7a edizione – ha infatti registrato ascolti altissimi, tenendo incollati alla tv ogni luned\u00ec sera milioni di telespettatori. Anche quest’anno 6 coppie hanno messo alla prova il loro amore cercando di resistere a tentatori e tentatrici, e i nostri affezionati visitatori hanno messo da parte Pornhub per qualche ora pur di seguirli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nel grafico qui sopra troviamo la fluttuazione di traffico avvenuta in ogni puntata di Temptation Island 2019. Come potete vedere, ogni luned\u00ec il traffico su Pornhub ha iniziato lentamente a calare prima dell’inizio della puntata, per toccare un picco a ribasso durante la messa in onda e poi tornare lentamente al livello medio registrato solitamente il luned\u00ec sera in Italia. Guardiamo ora pi\u00f9 nel dettaglio ogni singola trasmissione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La linea verde indica l’andamento durante la prima puntata della stagione, andata in onda il 23 giugno, seguita da oltre 3 milioni e mezzo di italiani. Il picco registrato durante questa puntata \u00e8 un -6% intorno all’orario di inizio, durante la presentazione delle coppie e dei tentatori. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La linea rossa ci racconta cos’\u00e8 successo il luned\u00ec seguente, quando la trasmissione ha registrato oltre 3 milioni e 700 mila spettatori e le visite su Pornhub hanno subito un incredibile calo dell’8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La linea gialla segue il traffico della terza puntata, andata in onda luned\u00ec 8 luglio con uno share oltre il 23%. Anche in questo caso, il fal\u00f2 bis tra Nunzia e Arcangelo fa registrare un calo dell’8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In azzurro possiamo osservare l’andamento delle visite sul sito durante la quarta puntata, che ha registrato il record di ascolti in termini di telespettatori con 4 milioni di fan davanti alla tv. Il calo registrato in questo caso \u00e8 “solamente” del 4%, segno che forse gli italiani quella sera sono riusciti con molta concentrazione a seguire contemporaneamente i video dei fal\u00f2, e quelli su Pornhub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La penultima puntata di questa stagione, trasmessa luned\u00ec scorso, segna un record assoluto sia in termini di share che di fluttuazione di traffico su Pornhub. Infatti la puntata ha registrato uno share del 23,65%, e un calo di traffico su Pornhub pari al 9% rispetto alla media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abbiamo dato un’occhiata alle ricerche e ci siamo accorti che Temptation Island non ha influenzato la fruizione di Pornhub solo in termine di visite, ma anche in termini di contenuti. Infatti, gli italiani hanno cercato “Temptation Island” sul sito. A partire dalla prima puntata, ogni settimana nel giorno di messa in onda le ricerche del termine hanno registrato una grande crescita. Sull’asse delle y l’1 segna il numero medio di ricerche, in base a questo livello di base possiamo notare che luned\u00ec 22 giugno e luned\u00ec 2 luglio le ricerche per il termine “Temptation Island” hanno subito un aumento di oltre il 150%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
