For the first time in history, the winner was an Italian player, Jannik Sinner, who defeated\u00a0Daniil Medvedev\u00a0in the final match.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Italians were so excited about these results that the country entered\u00a0a tennis-fever. So, how did these celebrations affect Pornhub? Our statisticians took a closer look at the search terms for our friends at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adnkronos.com\/sport\/effetto-sinner-anche-su-pornhub-in-italia-boom-ricerche-per-video-a-tema-tennis_5rBHEDSVtwhc0cGnWUyCUm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ADN Kronos<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>In Italy, searches for tennis related terms started increasing after the beginning of the competition, at the start of January, and kept rising and falling over the next two weeks. The day after Jannik Sinner won, searches soared up +226%! It seems the Italians unlocked a new fantasy with their excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"844\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pornhub.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/pornhub-insights-italy-tennis-search-popularity-2024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22289\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But what exactly did Italians look for on Pornhub? First was a generic \u201ctennis player\u201d followed by \u201ctennis coach\u201d and \u201ctennis nude\u201d and then \u201ctennis skirt.\u201d After that, viewers got a little more creative with their variants related to the sport, including \u201cwhite tennis shoes\u201d and \u201clesbian tennis.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"1280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pornhub.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/pornhub-insights-italy-2024-tennis-top-searches.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22281\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there was another country who were even more engaged than the Italians \u2013 the host country, Australia!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Australians were so focused on the sport, during the competition tennis related searches in the country soared to an incredible +2,689% on the 21<sup>st<\/sup> of January. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"846\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pornhub.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/pornhub-insights-australia-2024-tennis-search-popularity.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22285\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to Jannik Sinner!
