During the last few weeks, anticipation grew as Italians waited anxiously for the airing of a new season of Gomorrah. The TV show, produced by Sky and broadcast in 130 countries, has developed a cult following all around the world. After a two year wait, on Tuesday May 10th Italians were happy to finally see a new episode of their favorite TV show. The first two episodes recorded an audience of nearly 1.2 million, so our friends at Fanpage<\/a> asked us to take a look at Pornhub traffic to see if Gomorrah-mania hit our Italian visitors as well.<\/p>\n

Our statisticians discovered that during the airing of Gomorrah, traffic in Itally dropped as much as 8%, but recovered shortly after the show finished. In Naples, the traffic change was even more dramatic. At the start of the show, traffic plummeted 16% below normal levels at 21:00. By the end of the show, traffic in Naples had recovered, but it increased a further 9% above daily averages for midnight. Perhaps Gomorrah left the people of Naples excited by the end, or they were just making up for lost time on Pornhub.<\/p>\n

La Gomorra-mania colpisce anche Pornhub<\/b><\/h2>\n

In queste settimane l\u2019Italia \u00e8 impazzita nell\u2019attesa della messa in onda dei nuovi episodi della seconda stagione di Gomorra. La serie cult prodotta da Sky e trasmessa in 130 paesi ha lasciato orfani i propri fan – sopravvissuti a colpi di \u201cdeux frittures\u201d e gli altri tormentoni firmati dai The Jackall- fino a Marted\u00ec 10 Maggio quando, alle 21:10, Sky ha finalmente trasmesso i primi due episodi della nuova stagione, con ascolti record di 1,186.000 spettatori.<\/p>\n

I nostri amici di Fanpage ci hanno chiesto di dare un\u2019occhiata al traffico sul nostro sito, e abbiamo scoperto che la \u201cfebbre Gomorra\u201d ha colpito davvero tutti, compresi i nostri visitatori!<\/p>\n

Il nostro dipartimento di statistica ha infatti scoperto che durante la messa in onda di Gomorra 2 il traffico in Italia \u00e8 precipitato, diminuendo dell\u20198%, e tornando a livelli normali solo dopo la fine del secondo episodio. A Napoli in particolare, la variazione del traffico \u00e8 stata ancora pi\u00f9 brusca: quando lo show \u00e8 iniziato le visite sono crollate, diminuendo del 16% rispetto al normale traffico. Quando la messa in onda \u00e8 finita, le visite provenienti dal capoluogo campano non solo sono tornate nella norma, ma hanno avuto un ulteriore picco del 9% rispetto al traffico usuale. Che Gomorra abbia lasciato i suoi fan napoletani eccitati..?<\/p>\n
