So, when Mashable approached us for exclusive data before the big day, we were eager to dig in and reveal what’s trending!
Our statisticians looked at the top relative searches across the United States and found some telling results.
Some states preferred “leather” and “pegging” — looking at you Washington and Oregon. While others took a more traditional approach. California searched “girlfriend” more, while Colorado searched “tradwife.”

Affection was in high demand for some states, with New Mexico’s interest in “hugging,” New York’s interest in “intimate” and Connecticut’s interest in “cuddling.”
Pennsylvania liked “respectful” and Vermont was all about “passionate.”
Ohio went wild for “car sex” searches and things were “bouncing” around in Louisiana.
The District of Columbia enjoyed some good old-fashioned “facesitting” and Maryland was all about “granny.”
